RealTime Gaming hits Europe for eGaming Awards and EiG show

Atlanta, GA – The fall event schedule for the online gaming industry is warming up, and representatives from RealTime Gaming are gearing up, heading to Europe for two of the industry's biggest events, the 2006 eGaming Awards and the 2006 European i-Gaming Congress.

First on the schedule is eGaming Review Magazine's second annual eGaming Awards, hosted this year at London 's Natural History Museum on Monday October 9th.|

RealTime Gaming CEO Michael McMain will be on hand to deliver this year's award for Industry Hotshot, honoring one of the online gaming industry's power players as selected by eGaming's panel of journalists and judges. RealTime will play host to all of the category nominees as well as a selection of other industry VIPs at the awards presentation show. At the 2005 awards, RealTime Gaming handed out the award for Asian Market Hotshot to Easybets.com.

From London , the RTG crew moves on to Barcelona , Spain for the 5 th Annual European i-Gaming Congress. In past years, EiG has been a stop on the RealTime Gaming trade show circuit, though typically only as conference attendees – not exhibitors or sponsors.

This year, RealTime Gaming plans to up their involvement in the show, though their approach is anything but typical. RTG bypassed booking standard tradeshow booth space for EiG, opting instead to sponsor the “Relaxation Zone”.

Set as an area for gaming executives to relax on a couch, plug-in to check email or even get a relaxing back massage, the “Relaxation Zone” should be a popular destination for road-weary execs working the tradeshow trail. RealTime representatives will be on hand to answer questions about their award-winning software, and as McMain puts it, “have a chance to relax with colleagues and associates in a great venue within a great show.”

What's next for RTG's road warriors? The 2007 show season is just around the corner, with a return to London in January for the ICE 2007 show.
